FRBCV
First Romanian Baptist Church of Virginia was established with the spiritual purpose to worship, pray and study the Bible in the Romanian language. On March 15th, 1998, an assembly of 18 people voted unanimously the constitution of the church, under the name of First Romanian Baptist Church of Virginia (aka FRBCV). Shortly, FRBCV joined the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia and the Romanian Baptist Association of USA and Canada. On May 3rd, 1998, the FRBCV elected Rusalin Lungocia as deacon. On April 28th, 2005, 7 new members were baptized and joined the church.
Since its establishment, the FRBCV was ministered by various guest speakers. From June 1st, 2006 to July 1st, 2007 brother Sebastian Mureşan led the ministry of FRBCV. And, from September 1st, 2007 to March 1st, 2009, Dr. Emil Bartoş was the pastor of the FRBCV. On January 2nd, 2011, the General Assembly of the FRBCV voted Ionel Coltea as the Senior Pastor of the local church. FRBCV gathers for worship and fellowship every Sunday from 11:15 AM at the address of 478 Ramoth Church Road, Stafford, VA 22554.
The attendance of the Sunday Services at the FRBCV included both the believers of the local church and the Romanian guests living around the area, up to Washington DC. We believe that our church is going to strengthen spiritually and grow numerically as the Lord will give his grace and provide his providence toward his precious church.
